The meeting will take participants to the real case man trailing, which can be trained either by amateurs or professionals.

We will go over the most important aspects of man trailing training, advantages and disadvantages, training basics, terminology, communication on the trail and what you need to start. We will also talk about changes in behaviour especially when it comes to fearful dogs.

About the Presenter




Małgorzata Woźniak - in short Gosia, the founder of BavariaTeam.com - as she lives with 3 bavarian mountain hounds, a founder of Man-trailingand Scent Detection Academy Poland that gathers all the professional schools working the same style in Poland, also evaluates teams to work with MAP certifications, prepares trainers and instructors to work with dogs in Poland and abroad, also does scent detection seminars.

A handler of 3 working dogs - Nela 7yrs old, BMH - GAK9 and MAP certified, does also professional scent detection (recenty the dog is withdrawn from work as she has got glaucoma), Flora - a rescue dog, about 8 yrs old, MAP certified - retired, but when needed, takes part on real cases and the youngest Breeze Innis Airgialla – 1.5 yrs old, recently GAK9 certified - he is just beginning his journey into the "real world"

Gosia prepares teams to cooperate with SAR and to real cases, prepared 10 dogs that passed GAK9 exams in the last 2 years. She likes dog-dog, human-dog, dog-human communication, uses natural hunting drive, also learns from hunting tracking, uses non-aversive methods paying attention to human-dog bond and emotions that influence the whole team.

She loves working with fearful dogs, watching their metamorphosis
