Much like the lack of transparency in dog training, there's also a lack of transparency in sheltering and rescue organizations. This webinar will review key questions adopters, donors and those looking to support organizations should look for, red flags to be aware of and how organizations can improve their transparency with the public. As behavior professionals, we’ve likely all had clients who were well-intentioned adopting a dog that turned out to be more than they bargained for, resulting in emotional and financial duress. It's up to all of us to keep groups accountable, educate clients and raise awareness about the importance of transparency.
