Our British Isles Chapter originated as a charter established shortly after PPG’s inception, with the purpose of representing our many valued members throughout the British Isles. PPG British Isles (PPGBI) celebrated many accomplishments, including being the primary provider of PPG resources, benefits and events for our British Isles members, and also playing an instrumental role in developing PPG’s junior memberships.
We are happy to share that we have redesignated PPGBI as a chapter of PPG! The result is a more cohesive organization and assurance that everything PPG does coordinates with what’s happening “across the pond.” Everything is now in one place—PPGBI member profiles have been merged into PPG’s online member directory, and all PPGBI resources are now available on PPG’s website. Another positive outcome of this change is that we welcome three new members to PPG’s Steering Committee: British Isles Chapter Co-leaders Dayle Pierce and Nathan Watson, and Tom Candy! Dayle also serves as the chair of PPG’s Shelter & Rescue Division, and Nathan Watson is PPG’s liaison for the U.K. Dog Charter. We will continue to promote and support all the great resources PPG offers to the pet training and pet care community in the British Isles, and remain committed to providing relevant regional resources to British Isles pet professionals.
