Suzi Moore, LVT, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA
Cat Behavior Consultant
Suzi Moore is an animal behavior consultant, helping people with their dog and cat problems for over 35 years. Suzi has a special focus on cat behavior issues, especially integrating pets into a multi-pet household, dog-cat relationships, cat aggression issues, and litter box or spraying problems.
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Certified Behavior Consultant, she brings a formal education in animal behavior together with decades of hands-on experience to create an individual plan for each pet she sees.
She starts with collecting a detailed behavioral history of the pet and the problem, then formulates an individually tailored plan, and provides an abundance of coaching and support throughout implementation.
Working with Suzi, you can be assured that only scientifically sound, positive-reinforcement based methods will be used that do not ever entail punishment or “correction.”

Jean Whitehead, MA, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA
Professional Dog Trainer and Behavior Consultant
Jean has been helping people and their dogs build better relationships through positive, reward-based training since 1994. A graduate of Moorpark College’s renowned Exotic Animal Training and Management Program, she began her career working professionally with a variety of species in zoos, aquariums, and film before focusing on companion animals.
Over the past 30+ years, Jean has taught thousands of group classes and private lessons, specializing in reactivity, fear, and anxiety-based behaviors. Known for her supportive and practical teaching style, she emphasizes setting both people and pets up for success by tailoring training to each family’s goals and abilities.
A Certified Professional Dog Trainer–Knowledge Assessed, Jean continues to share her expertise as a behavior consultant through Another Approach Behavior Solutions and as an instructor through Dog Guide, LLC. Outside of teaching, she is active in rescue, conformation, obedience, and agility.

Lara Joseph
Professional Animal Behavior Consultant and Trainer
Lara is the owner of The Animal Behavior Center, an international educational center that teaches people how to understand behavior through training animals using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a professional animal behavior consultant and trainer focusing on exotic animals.
Lara travels internationally, giving workshops, lectures, and providing online, live-streaming learning programs on behavior, training, and enrichment. She sits on the advisory board for All Species Consulting, the Indonesian Parrot Project. She is a professional member of IAATE and ZAA. She is also a guest lecturer in the course Zoo Biology; Behavior & Diagnostics taught by Dr. Jason Crean at St. Xavier University; Chicago.
Lara has presented for a wide variety of organizations including the Philadelphia Zoo, the Ohio State University Exotic Veterinary Club, the University of Wisconsin’s division of exotic medicine, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, Best Friends Animal Society, the Pet Professional Guild, the International Wildlife Rehabilitator’s Conference.
