Tasha Attwood, ACB.KSA
Behaviour Consultant and Dog Trainer
Tasha is a holistic canine behaviourist and trainer specialising in education that supports both dogs and their guardians through collaborative, individualised care. Their work centres on building safe, respectful relationships that honour each dog as a unique individual, with a particular focus on healing trauma, strengthening the human-canine bond, and promoting understanding through gentle, welfare-led approaches.
With an emphasis on holistic care, cooperative techniques, and concept-based learning, Tasha is dedicated to helping people create meaningful, lasting connections with their dogs rooted in trust and mutual communication.
Tasha works exclusively online and supports guardians internationally. Their comprehensive remote service includes a detailed behavioural history and intake process, an exclusive private Dropbox folder for resources and progress tracking, a recorded consultation, a written transcript, and a fully personalised behaviour and care plan. Ongoing support and follow-up are also included via the shared Dropbox folder.
They share their life with their four dogs—Diesel, Koda, Django, and Zombie—and regularly offer insight into their lives by creating accessible video tutorials for guardians. These tutorials range from collaborative care techniques that enhance welfare to games-based learning approaches that support emotional connection and learning, gently moving away from traditional obedience models.

Paul Watts, RCH
Canine and Small Animal Hydrotherapist
After taking our own dogs to hydrotherapy for several years, we already knew the wonderful benefits that this therapy offered and helped us in many ways. When we moved to Lincolnshire, we found that the long journeys to a new centre were taking their toll on our beloved pooches, and so decided to open our own centre and get qualified. In January 2019 we opened our doors to our wonderful clients, and after building a client base and earning the respect of our referring vets, we now offer hydrotherapy and laser therapy for our clients. We also cater for canine athletes/show dogs/introductions to swimming and puppy swims.
Specialties:
- Canine (small animal) hydrotherapy – pool and treadmill
- Class 4 laser therapy
- Rehabilitation for small animals, pre- or post-operative using water (pool or aquatic treadmill)

Dog Trainer (APDT UK #1160), Animal Training Instructor as categorised by the ABTC
Fiona is a qualified and accredited member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT UK #1160) and has been training dogs professionally for over 16 years. Ruff Diamonds was set up in 2011; the name pays tribute to terriers everywhere and especially to a particular rogue Patterdale whose caricature is on her logo! Fiona has studied with some of the top trainers in the UK including Sarah Whitehead, Gwen Bailey, Robert Ewings, Craig Ogilvy, and Steve Mann. She is continually building her knowledge by attending further courses and seminars, as well as reading and research. This knowledge is passed on to clients in a fun, interesting, and informative way.
Fiona is particularly interested in ensuring that puppies have the best start with their new owners and in progressing their training. Ruff Diamonds dogs have the opportunity to work through the APDT’s Good Companion Awards from Puppy/Foundation to Advanced in small group classes, or one to one. Fiona is a qualified Canine Hoopers instructor (for fun rather than competition), and a UK Sniffer Dogs instructor, focussing on scent detection. She also has a lot of experience working with and helping dogs and their owners who need additional support, and is lucky to have a great network of other qualified and experienced professionals who can be called upon including vets, canine behaviourists, canine physiotherapists, and groomers.
Fiona is continually refreshing and adding to her knowledge by attending conferences, webinars, and courses led by other canine professionals from the UK and abroad. Networking with other professionals also plays a large part in her keeping up to date.
Fiona has been fortunate to have shared her life with many and varied dogs including Afghan Hounds, a Border Collie, Boxers, Terriers, and a few ‘mutts’ too. Fiona’s current dogs are Spyder, a 14-year-old Patterdale Terrier (the original Ruff Diamond); Poly, an eight year old rescued Pug x Lhasa Apso; and her latest addition, Feta, a seven-year-old rehomed Norfolk Terrier who has been with Fiona for just over a year. All have helped—and are still helping—Fiona to develop as the trainer she is today.
Fiona is a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild.
Specialties:
- Working with puppies and their owners/handlers from puppy basics through to more advanced work, following the APDT’s Good Companion Awards programme, and helping them to build a lasting and rewarding relationship through training and fun!
- Introducing dogs and their owners/handlers to other fun activities such as scent detection and hoopers.

Make Every Walk with Your Dog Fun for Both of You!
Walking the dog. Wikipedia describes dog walking as “…the act of a person walking with a dog, typically from the dog’s residence and then returning.” Sadly, the definition suggests nothing about the walk being enjoyable or, better yet, fun for the dog. Some people might view walking the dog as an obligation to ensure dogs get physical exercise, which entails walking around the block or some other regular course, at an unvarying pace, with the dog in a perfect heel position. That’s not the type of walk where your dog… Continued
