The webinar is presented by Annie, a qualified and accredited dog trainer who works as the Education and Engagement officer for The Muzzle Movement.
The Muzzle Movement is a company that designs and manufactures muzzles, developed by a team of trainers and behaviourists, with dog welfare and safety at the forefront. The team is all passionately force-free and has become experts in all things muzzle!
This presentation will cover the benefits, uses, and myths surrounding muzzles and their use, as well as discuss the importance of fit when it comes to dog welfare, ways to combat the stigma surrounding muzzle use, support for professionals who work with muzzled dogs, and some muzzle training top tips!
Despite being a company that sells muzzles, this is NOT a sales pitch! We are passionate about advocacy and education, and providing support and community for muzzled dogs, their guardians, and the professionals who work with them. This talk is suitable for professionals in all dog industries, from training and behaviour, to veterinary, grooming, therapies, and more.

Your Presenters- Annie Dowell-Caffrey
Annie is the Community and Education Officer at The Muzzle Movement. She has over 12 years of experience working with dogs, including running her own boarding kennels, and as a rehabilitation trainer in the UK’s largest dog rehoming organisation. Annie has worked as a self-employed dog trainer and is accredited by APDT UK, IMDT, and ABTC, before joining The Muzzle Movement in 2023.
