Professional Equid Trainer – Pilot Program
Welcome to the Professional Equid Trainer Accreditation Pilot Program
Welcome! This is the official landing page for the Professional Equid Trainer Accreditation Pilot Program, which is currently underway.
We are excited to share that 30 professional trainers have been invited to participate in this initial phase. Their contribution is vital as we test the efficacy and rigor of the pilot examination program.
Next Steps for the Program
Once the pilot phase concludes, we will move into a detailed evaluation period:
- Performance Assessment: Each examination question will be analyzed for clarity and effectiveness.
- Finalization: Subject matter experts and the examination committee will refine the assessment based on pilot data.
- Public Rollout: As soon as the final version is approved, these two premier credentials will be officially released to the general public.
This study guide outlines the requirements for obtaining the Professional Equid Trainer – Accredited (PET-A) and the Professional Equid Behavior Consultant – Accredited (PEBC-A) credentials from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board (PPAB).

A Note to Our Participants
If you have been selected to participate in this pilot program, we thank you for your hard work and dedication. Your contributions are essential to the success of this initiative.
We look forward to rolling out the full program once this phase is complete.
