Kavita is the founder of The Driven Dog, specialising in behaviour and training for high-drive and working-breed dogs. They create tailored plans that improve impulse control, foster calmer, more balanced lives, and help owners better understand their dogs. Combining training with canine nutrition guidance, Kavita supports long-term well-being and performance. Their holistic approach prioritises the health and happiness of both dogs and their people.

Dr. Nick Thompson, BSc (Hons) Path Sci., BVM&S, VetMFHom, MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Nick Thompson is a UK-based veterinary surgeon and one of the leading voices in species-appropriate nutrition for dogs. He is the founder of Holisticvet, a referral practice near Bath that blends conventional veterinary medicine with homeopathy, herbal medicine, and a strong focus on natural nutrition.
Nick has championed raw and fresh feeding since the mid-1990s and is the founding president of the International Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (RFVS). Through RFVS he has helped globally unite vets who are committed to science-led, independent thinking in canine nutrition.
A long-standing critic of ultra-processed pet food and the overuse of pharmaceuticals, Nick lectures internationally on gastroenterology, the microbiome, and real-food approaches to health. He advises leading raw food companies across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Southeast Asia, and regularly appears on podcasts and industry panels.
He is currently writing a book on ultra-processed food and its harms in dogs—a book exploring the science, history, and future of canine nutrition.
